Season: It starts to be harvested in mid-February and ends in the end of May.
It comes from the Isle of Jamaica and it came into Spain in 1971. The tangerine is medium to big size, quite flat and with a very strong coloured ring on the upper area. It’s difficult to be peeled and it is provided with detachment of essential oils. Due to its size and properties it can be more related to an orange rather than a tangerine.
The pulp is melting, juicy and well balanced between sugars and acids.
This is a very juicy tangerine.
The consistency of its peel is characteristic of this tangerine.
