Valencia Late


Season: It’s a late variety which is harvested from the end of March until mid-June.

Its origin probably comes from Portugal, but it was first introduced into Spain in the first half of the twenty century. Its production was increasing and in the 1977-78 season it became the most widely used late variety.

The fruit is from medium to big size, rounded or slightly elongated. The rind is thin and smooth, or sometimes a little grainy. The juice has got a delicious aroma and it is slightly sour, being good for industry.
